Venture into pristine rainforest in Côte d'Ivoire to spot wild chimpanzees

EXPLORE

Côte d'Ivoire

Travel 600km across Côte d'Ivoire to Taï National Park - one of the last areas of primary rainforest in West Africa. Côte d'Ivoire is one of the safest countries in Africa, and has a rainforest that is home to a multitude of red list threatened species, such as pygmy hippos, leopards and chimpanzees; it is a truly wild and remote habitat.

Come with us as we travel deep into the forest and base ourselves alongside eco-guides and researchers who will assist us in finding incredible photography opportunities and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Working closely with the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation, we will have access to habituated troops of mangabey's, colobus monkeys, and the iconic chimpanzee. Whilst at your jungle base camp, you will experience the jungle by day, and by night. You will be well looked after by camp staff who will provide delicious regional meals and basic, but comfortable jungle accommodation.

We will spend part of the week searching for troops of wild chimps, with the week culminating in a visit to a fully habituated wild chimp group where sightings are more likely.
